That's awesome! I started blogging a few months ago and when I write articles I ask myself 3 questions:
1. Does it bring value in a way that is relevant to my niche?
2. Is it well written?
3. Would I personally want to read this?
To find a niche, work out what your passions and interests are and try to combine them into a specific theme that ties them all together. For myself, I'm passionate about physical/mental health and travel so combined these to create a blog centred around the themes of veganism, travel and yoga. Other than this, posting consistently and regularly is essential. This is an area I'm still working on but when I set myself a schedule to upload at the same time every week, I find that the articles are easier to write and flow better when read in succession (as in the journal idea mentioned by Teliah). Readers are much more likely to stay loyal to your blog if you stay loyal to it!
